Help Haiti

The best way to help Haiti right now is by giving money.

I'd personally love it if you gave to any of these organizations:

Real Hope For Haiti - They run a rescue center and clinic outside of PAP, they have had many people walking to their clinic for help. They also have more then 50 children living in the rescue center there.

Compassion International is a child sponsorship organization. They serve over 65,000 children in Haiti and about 2/3 of those live within the hardest hit areas. Compassion also helps the families of these children, that's easily 130,000 people that they help every day, not just when disaster strikes.

If you'd like to support Haiti and also help spread the word about the needs there, then check out my buddy Aaron's "Help Haiti" t-shirt. 100% of proceeds go to RHFH (above) and Heartline, another organization based in Haiti. Not only can you help, but you get a cool shirt.

If you aren't comfortable with those options for some reason then:

The Red Cross has some good options
a) you can donate $10 by texting "Haiti" to 90999
b) donate at their website

Habitat for Humanity provided more then 2,000 families with homes prior to the earthquake, they are gearing up to help in the recovery efforts and will need substantial financial support to do that. To learn more read this or donate.
